WELL is an online resource that sells jewelry and links artists, designers, crafters and healers. WELL offers a mix of links to indie clothing, accessories, jewelry, art, healing services and products. WELL began as a storefront in Oakland, Ca on February 29th, 2008 with the intent to connect designers and artist to Oakland and create a stronger artistic and cultural community. WELL offered rotating art exhibits and was an official part of the Oakland Art Murmur.
The story of the name, in searching for something that said many things in small word and WELL was born. Well, that and wanting to acknowledge Brigid the Celtic Goddess of water and fire, the holy well and the sacred flame. She presides over smithcraft, poetry and healing.
